Rhonda B. Coe, Principal and Founder of R. B. Coe Consulting, LLC has more than 20 years of professional experience in the affordable housing finance and development industry.  Her career spans work with non-profit organizations, developers, Housing Authorities and Federal, State and local governmental agencies. She’s uniquely qualified to lead clients through the unwieldy development process and the complex housing finance arena.

Prior to launching R.B. Coe Consulting, Ms. Coe held high level management positions in the public and private sectors and is skilled in building strategic public and private partnerships. She has extensive expertise in managing complex housing finance programs, performing feasibility analyses, grant writing, financial packaging and project management.  Ms. Coe is also skilled in concept development and strategic planning for organizations and public entities seeking to build high quality affordable housing and create healthy, sustainable communities. Ms. Coe provides advisory services in all aspects of the development process ranging from concept development and community planning to securing planning and financing approvals, lease-up or sales.  She is skilled in community engagement and consensus building and neighborhood revitalization initiatives including housing, open space and economic development initiatives.

Ms. Coe has a broad range of knowledge of Federal, State, County and local affordable and Special Needs housing programs including the HUD HOME and Community Development Block Grant programs;  McKinney-Vento/HEARTH ACT programs; NJHMFA Tax-exempt and Taxable Financing programs; Low Income Tax Credit program; NJ CHOICE Homeownership program; NJ Department of Human Services’ special needs housing programs; and the Federal Home Loan Bank of NY Affordable Housing Program.  Ms. Coe is also knowledgeable of New Jersey’s Uniform Housing Affordability Control regulations.

Ms. Coe earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Management from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She’s a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of New Jersey, member of the Housing and Community Development  Network of New Jersey, Women in Housing and Finance and the Affordable Housing Professionals of New Jersey.
